Preparing your visit

The place

A simple place, built around the fire

Santa's Salmon Place began with a simple idea: serve fresh salmon around the fire, in the shelter of a Lappish kota.

The cooking is part of the visit. Guests can watch the salmon roast, warm up and share the table at an unhurried pace.

The experience

Close to the flame

The salmon is prepared in front of the open fire. Heat, smoke and time do the work, while a Finnish salad and warm bread keep the plate uncomplicated.

The new building

A new kota is taking shape

At Pukinpolku 5, the new timber building follows the material language of the surrounding forest, shaped around warmth, fire and shared tables.
